Cheltenham Magistrates' Court - Monday, October 12

Marley Burt, 25, of Apsley Road, Cirencester, has pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging the wing mirror of a Mini in the town on July 4.

He has also indicated a guilty plea to charges of assaulting two police officers.

Burt has been remanded on unconditional bail until November 6.

 

Ryan Murray, 24, of Springfield Road, Cirencester, has pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, on September 11.

The magistrates fined Murray £85 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £34 surcharge - making a total of £204.

 

John Pettigrew, 39, from Framilode, has been banned from the roads for 14 months.

He admitted driving a Transit van at Gossington on the A38 on September 12 with 56 micrograms of alcohol on his breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

He was disqualified from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay £303 in fines, costs and surcharges.

 

Randal Cowell, 33, of Pancake Hill, Chedworth, has been disqualified from driving for 14 months.

He admitted driving a Subaru on the A429 between Cirencester and Northleach while over the drink-drive limit. Cowell had 112 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the legal limit being 80.

He was ordered to pay £237 in fines, costs and surcharges.

 

Sean Creed, 39, of Welcomyn, Chalford Hill, has pleaded guilty on October 12 to dishonestly handling a Polaris quadbike, a safety helmet, fuel funnel, set of jump leads, and tools to a total value of £2,180 from January 12-15 last year.

He also admitted to being illegally in possession of a .22 air rifle.

Magistrates imposed a community order with a two months 7pm-7am home curfew on Creed. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £120 fine, £85 costs and an £85 surcharge, making a total of £390.

 

Alison Wilks, 40, of School Field Close, Whitminster, has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 19 months.

She admitted driving on Shepherds Mead, Tetbury, while over the drink-drive limit.

Wilks had 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

She was ordered to pay £440 in fines, costs and surcharges.
