A MALMESBURY woman who was caught over the drink-drive limit has been banned from driving for 18 months.

Allison Curtis, 48, of Avenue De Gien, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when she appeared before Swindon Magistrates Court via live link on October 12.

Curtis was stopped in her car on the A429 in Malmesbury on September 2 last year.

She was found to have 146 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the legal limit being 80 milligrammes.

Curtis was fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £34.
