A CIRENCESTER man has been handed a suspended sentence after he carried out an unprovoked attack leaving the victim with serious injuries.
Louis Potter, aged 24, of Stepstairs Lane, was given a 16-week sentence, suspended for two years, after carrying out the attack on a man in Cirencester on June 14 last year.
Potter was ordered to carry out 75 hours of unpaid work within the next twelve months.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £500 and others costs totalling £200.
