A 24 year old Cirencester man's threatening behaviour in the town last month has cost him more than £200 in fines, costs and surcharges.

At Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 12, Ryan Murray, of Springfield Road, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, on September 11.

The magistrates fined Murray £85 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £34 surcharge - making a total of £204. They allowed him to pay at £20 a month, starting on November 5.
