Cheltenham Magistrates' Court - Thursday, October 8

Louis Potter, 24, of Stepstairs Lane, Cirencester, has been given a suspended sentence.

Potter was give a 16-week sentence, suspended for two years, after carrying out an unprovoked attack and causing serious injuries to a man in Cirencester on June 14 last year.

He was also ordered to pay compensation of £500 and others costs totalling £200.

Bristol Magistrates' Court - Friday , October 9

Phoebe Ellis, 22, of Ableton Lane, Severn Beach, has appeared in court charged with assaulting a police officer.

She has indicated a guilty plea in relation to the incident which occurred at Patchway Police Station on October 8.

Ellis has been remanded on unconditional bail until November 24 to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

 

Erik Thomas, 39, of Hay Leaze, Yate has pleaded to driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.

He drove an Audi on Coln Square, Thornbury, on May 12.

Thomas has been disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months and ordered to carry out 100 hours on unpaid work and pay fines and costs totalling £480.
