A 24-year-old has been banned from driving for 19 months after he was charged with drink-driving near Cirencester.
Matthew Stephens, of High Street, Cheltenham, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 1.
Magistrates heard how Stephens drove on the A417 London Road, Ampney Crucis, when he was over the drink drive limit on June 20.
Stephens was found to have 75 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
Magistrates fined him £240 and ordered him to pay costs of £119.
