Outdoor dining pods are giving Cotswold diners a room with a view.

Charingworth Manor near Chipping Campden has launched a new Wild Dining experience offering alfresco dining and magnificent views.

Four cosy dining pods, each with capacity for four, have been installed on the south-facing lawned terraces for guests to enjoy food and drink while nestled in the gardens with views as far as the eye can see.

The hotel’s head chef, Mark Coleman, has devised a new wild dining menu all created from locally sourced produce, that includes four new sharing platters.

Guests can choose between a Charcuterie Platter featuring a selection of delicious cured meats; a Fisherman’s Platter that includes smoked salmon, trout and whitebait; a Box Baked Camembert for cheese lovers; and also a Chocolate Brownie Fondue Platter for those with a sweeter tooth to enjoy.

As well as the new alfresco dining menu, guests also have the option to book and enjoy Classic Lodges’ Afternoon Tea outside on the tranquil terrace if they prefer.

Anna Asimakopoulou, general manager at Charingworth Manor, says: “We wanted to find a new way for guests to enjoy our beautiful grounds and gardens in a safe environment.

"Our new outdoor pods and Wild Dining experience offer guests the chance to relax and unwind, take in the magnificent views of the beautiful Cotswolds and enjoy delicious food and drink.”
