THIS year, Cirencester's October Mop Fair was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But here are some wonderful images of the fair in the town in previous years.

Our nostalgia writer Robert Heaven, who has an archive of negatives from the old Standard office, has recently scanned hundreds of these images to preserve them for generations to come and uploaded them to the Old Ciren Facebook page.
