Chedworth community news with David Broad
THERE has been continued flooding at Chedworth Airfield and the so called “Hitler’s Puddle”.
Flooding half the carriageway to a depth of several inches half way around a bend, this is particularly dangerous to strangers who don’t expect a flooded road near the top of a hill over 900ft above sea level.
Fortunately a local hero once again unblocked the clogged drain but has complained that Glos County Council should take responsibility and maintain the drains which needs regular cleaning.
The parish council will consider this at Mondays meeting.
THE parish council meets by Zoom this Monday at 7.30pm.
If any one wishes to observe the meeting or make a public comment at the commencement please contact the chairman Mrs Ros Jess.
THE parish council has again been approached about stones on Highway verges.
These are a Glos County Council responsibility and there is little the parish can do about it.
