It’s been a very busy year at South Cerney based construction firm Hercules Site Services and that doesn’t include the disruption caused by Covid-19.

Hercules have taken huge strides forward in terms of investing in their staff and the services they offer.

In March they completed the extension of their head office in South Cerney, creating a modern, airy space to accommodate their growing head office staff.

Sadly, they were unable to officially open the office due to lockdown, however, they finally managed to get this done on September 18 when local MP Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown opened the new workspace and witnessed first-hand some of the additional investments made.

Sir Geoffrey received a thorough brief and tour of the facilities getting to see up close, the Suction Excavators which were a £4m addition to the business back in July.

By January, Hercules will have a fleet of 9 Suction Excavators.

These huge machines will enable their clients to dig safely around existing underground services such as water, gas and broadband.

Sir Geoffrey also heard about Hercules’s plans to develop a 16 acres site in the Cotswolds which will act as an operations centre for the Suction Excavator Fleet.

Managing director Brusk Korkmaz also explained the innovation the company is introducing into the business; The Hercules Recruitment App; The Hercules Podcast and Health Screening Trailer.

All of this investment means that Hercules are now prepared for more future growth with some exciting projects on the horizon.
