WHAT a ridiculous feature in the SNJ - make the home a spider-free zone.
The only sensible part was the final paragraph listing the benefits of sharing ones home with spiders ie they catch mosquitoes, flies, fleas, wasps, etc
Spiders carry no disease unlike some of those listed.
David Attenborough is on our screens virtually every week warning of us of the dangers habitat destruction and species extinction.
Our homes are our habitat we need to share them some of the species around us, our own little contribution to saving our planet.
I know some people dislike the way spiders run around on their long legs, try to look away and develop some tolerance.
Spiders in a house is a sign of a healthy home.
