A 21-YEAR-OLD who was more than two times the drink drive limit when he was stopped by police has been handed a driving ban.
Dominic Perris, of Nags Head Lane, Avening, admitted driving with excess alcohol when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on September 19.
Perris was stopped in his car on Avening Road near Nailsworth on June 16 this year.
He was found to have 87 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
Perris was banned from driving for 21 months and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £194.
