An Alveston woman celebrated her 100th birthday at the weekend.
Joan Watts turned 100 on Saturday, September 19.
She has lived in Alveston for many years and is well known in the village.
Joan frequently went to the local shops and church and enjoyed many local clubs such as Over Fifties and Luncheon Club.
She is known for being very friendly and kind and always being willing to lend a helping hand.
Joan celebrated her birthday at Windmill House care home in Old Down.
With her family and friends unable to visit at the moment they wanted to wish her a very big happy birthday.
