Cirencester man drove whilst under the influence of alcohol
A Cirencester man who drove whilst under the influence of alcohol has been banned from driving.
Mark Knowles, 49, of Thessaly Road, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on August 27.
Magistrates heard how Knowles drove on Ashcroft Road, when he was under the influence of alcohol on July 24.
Knowles was found to have 51 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
He was banned from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £239.
