BEFORE Health and Safety rules determined the way activities and entertainments could operate; Cirencester folk were once able to watch flaming men performing high dives into a small tanks of water, writes Robert Heaven.
They also saw motorcyclists jumping over locals prostrate at Tarbarrow field.
Crowds gathered to watch the death defying antics of these brave men as they performed their amazing antics.
