The Virtual 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon takes place next month and seven members of Cirencester’s Running Somewhere Else Club will be taking part.
As the London Marathon is unable to take place, participants will take part in the 40th race by running the famous 26.2 mile marathon distance from home or anywhere in the world on a course of their choice.
Members of the Cirencester club will take part in the race, which takes place on Sunday, October 4, at the Cecily Hill Park Gates at 8am.
The members of the club taking part include Liz Farooq, who is raising money for The British Heart Foundation, Sharon Smith and Alan Powderhill, who are raising funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, and Sarah Reynolds and Tim Wainwright who will be running for The Bell Foundation.
Also running but not pictured are Cheri Edwards and Vicki Mason.
