Firefighters were called to a house fire in Fairford on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to Milton Street at around 8pm following reports of a blaze.
Police now say that Milton Street is closed due to an unsafe building and they would like pedestrians and cyclists to find an alternative route.
A spokesman said: "Milton Street, Fairford is closed due to an unsafe building.
"Some pedestrians and cyclists are still using the road.
"Please can nobody use this road.
"The building is at risk of collapse.
The road is expected to be closed until tomorrow (14/09). Please plan your route accordingly."
Last night four fire crews - from Fairford, Cirencester, Stratton St Margaret and Northleach - attended the blaze.
An aerial ladder from Cheltenham was deployed too.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to bring the fire under control.
