Margaret “Maggie” Scrivens sadly passed away last week, aged 89, writes David Broad.

Well known for her charity fundraising including parachute jumps and wing walking with AeroSuperbatics of Rendcomb Airfield and for her poetry of which she self published several volumes which she sold with all proceeds going to charity.

She will be sadly missed.

Private Funeral service at Cheltenham Crematorium on Friday, September 18 at 1.30pm.

If anyone wants to see Margaret off and pay your respects, the Cortege will leave the house at 12.45pm going pass the church then up to the village hall on the way to Withington and Cheltenham.
