The New Inn, an old roadside pub at Coln St Aldwyns near Cirencester, is reopening this September after a complete renovation.

Boasting 14 ensuite rooms, the pub has been stripped back to its original features, with an open kitchen and informal atmosphere.

The inn is being transformed and taken over by duo Baz and Fred, who most recently successfully launched The Stump - a hotel and gastro pub, known for its simple Italian menu.

Engrained in the history of the village, The New Inn is being transformed to bring the inside of the pub closer to its original design from decades ago.

A new locals bar is being fitted, alongside some modern touches such as a stunning new open kitchen that will form the heart and soul of the pub.

Similar to The Stump, expect a fun, vibrant space approachable for all ages.

Baz and Fred have also created a simple yet exciting new menu with delicious small plates.

The main staple will be a variety of burgers.

There will be other rolling specials, sides and main dishes on offer that will have Spanish, Italian and Portuguese influences. Baz and Fred feel the weekend roast option is more than covered by other pubs in the area, so they intend to mix things up a bit on weekends with dishes like BBQ spatchcock chicken and smoked brisket specials.

All of the food will be served freshly prepared from the new open kitchen.
