CIRENCESTER has been named the eighth most beautiful town to visit in the UK.
That’s according to research conducted by Daffodil Hotel.
They’ve ranked over 70 of the UK’s most beautiful towns and villages on factors including:
- Number of attractions
- Number of beauty spots
- Number of hills and mountain ranges
- Instagrammability (number of hashtags)
- Number of heritage spots
- Number of green spaces
They’ve then ranked each UK destination to bring you the ultimate list of picturesque and peaceful places to escape to in 2020 and beyond.
Cirencester ranked in 8th place, with an overall score of 36.68, as a result of its 28 mountains and hills, 0 heritage spots and 15 beauty spots.
Keswick in Cumbria was ranked at number one, with Whitby (North Yorkshire), Ambleside (Cumbria), Beddgelert (Gwynedd), and Salcombe (Devon) all making up the top five.
