ARGOS has released a statement following rumours that the Cirencester store won’t be reopening following the lockdown.
The Dyer Street store closed its doors in March and still hasn’t reopened, causing some residents to wonder whether it will be opening at all.
Although no announcement has been made on when the Cirencester store could reopen, the company has confirmed they are looking to reopen more stores in the near future.
A spokeswoman for Argos said: "On June 15 we started a first phase of Argos standalone store openings for collection and return.
“We also recently announced that we’re working to reopen more stores as part of our phased approach. To date we have reopened over 280 stores.
“Customers can find their nearest open store by visiting the Store Locator page on our website. We will keep our customers and colleagues updated on our plans."
