A 27-year-old woman who assaulted three police officers in a village near Cirencester has been sentenced to a six week home curfew, writes John Hawkins.

At Cheltenham Magistrates Court on July 31, Gabrielle Harford admitted three charges of assaulting emergency workers by beating them at Ampney Crucis, on August 17 last year.

Pcs George Howe, Martin West and Christopher Day were the victims of her assaults, the court was told.

Harford, of Norfolk Ave, Cheltenham, was sentenced to a six week electronically monitored curfew, running from 7pm to 7am each night and was ordered to pay £40 costs and a £90 surcharge.
