This was the state of one driver’s back wheels in Mannington today.
Traffic cops pulled the car over as part of checks on Wootton Bassett Road on Tuesday morning.
Pictures posted to social media by Wiltshire Police’s roads policing unit appeared to show a chunk missing from the car’s rear wheel alloy.

The driver of the car was issued with a prohibition notice, preventing the vehicle from being driven on the roads, and reported to the force’s traffic unit.
Another driver was reported for a tyre tear while others were given advice, officers said.
