A VINTAGE police car which was used in the hit BBC series Life on Mars is up for sale near Cirencester.
The ford was used in Life on Mars, which stars John Simm as a detective who wakes up in 1973 following a car crash in 2006.
The car was also used in the spin-off series Ashes to Ashes, which stars Bodyguard actress Keeley Hawes.
Gerry Watkins, founder of the Big Yellow Bus Project, a charity which helps rough sleepers in Cirencester, revealed that the car is up for sale in the area.
He said: “It’s a low mileage car and in very tidy condition and it’s only a bit dusty.
“It comes with all the paperwork proving that it was in both tv shows and is still sought-after for tv work.”
The Ford is valued between £10,000 to £15,000.
The owner will also be donating some money from the sale of the vehicle to Gerry’s Big Yellow Bus Project charity.
