Have you been helped by a neighbour with shopping, collecting a prescription or just by them ‘being there’ during this challenging time? Do you think you might be able to help your neighbour and your community in the future? The Patient Participation Group (PPG) for Hilary Cottage Surgery is trying to find out whether this community support worked for those who received it, provided it and organised it. The PPG is asking anyone who has received support to fill in a questionnaire about the help they received. Please either contact your local volunteer for a telephone interview appointment or phone Henry Vass: 07794 007867. All receivers of care who fill in the survey will be invited to enter a free draw with a £50 cash prize. Your response will help shape our community.

Hilary Cottage Surgery’s Patient Participation Group would also appreciate your help to gather patient feedback about changes which have been made to services in response to Covid-19. Please give your views on the new ways of working in order to help the NHS understand how your needs can be best met in the future. They are keen to hear about your own experiences of local service. Please share your views by completing bit.ly/3jlvM8C by July 31. Alternatively, you can email your suggestions, or any other comments to glccg.participation@nhs.net. A report with the results of the survey will be published on the NHS Gloucestershire CCG website and communicated to other health and care organisations across the South West to ensure that learning is shared.

The scheme gives businesses a top rating from 5 down to 0 after being judged on the handling of food, how food is stored and prepared, cleanliness of facilities and how food safety is managed.
