New Wave Seafoods in Fairford celebrated their 30th anniversary in business last September and now, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, has had to adapt the way they work.
With a fleet of vans at their disposal, New Wave have been able to offer a fast, efficient food delivery service for the community.
Owner, Tim Boyd, retained eight staff members, set up a Home Delivery Service website portal overnight and started delivering himself, just like in the early days of New Wave.
Within weeks, the demand was so great that they had expanded to 14, then 18.
Households that normally shopped in the supermarket were appreciative of not only the next-day service New Wave could provide, but also the quality of the fresh fish and range of other products such as English strawberries, Heirloom tomatoes, samphire and Cacklebean Arlington White eggs.
Bookings can be made over the phone on 01285 715160 from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm for next day delivery.
