Kemble/Somerford Keynes/ Poole Keynes news by Pat Ayres
UPDATE on the reopening of the Kemble Play Area (Windmill Park) - it was discussed at last Friday’s parish council meeting.
The parish council has consulted the latest Government Guidelines and will undertake a Covid Risk Assessment.
They will then have a special meeting to receive the report and at the meeting make a decision based on the report whether or not to open the playground.
THE Gloucestershire area community poppy organiser has advised the Kemble and district coordinator, although there will be a further review in September, that as it stands at the moment there will be no house to house collections and no manned collection points for the annual appeal in November.
Keeping all volunteers safe is the priority.
This decision has not been taken lightly by the charity.
DON’T forget your comments in response to the Kemble and Ewen neighbourhood Development plan should be with the Cotswold District Council by August 10.
The form is available from the website.
