Police made the arrest following an appeal
Police have arrested a 24-year-old from Stroud who was wanted in connection with an incident in the town last month.
Gloucestershire Constabulary issued a public appeal yesterday morning in a bid to locate Liam Wells who was arrested less than 12 hours later on suspicion of assault, possession of an offensive weapon and taking a vehicle without consent in relation to an incident in Stroud on June 18.
Wells has since been released under investigation today, Friday, July 10, pending further enquiries.
