Arlington Baptist Church in Bibury came up with a rocking good way to help entertain the locals during lockdown.

Up to 50 painted rocks were hidden around the village for locals to find and the first five people who 'Snap- Tag - Shared' their photo received a prize.

The rocks were painted with pictures from all over the world by Rinnie Roo, who started the successful venture on Facebook, before being hidden around Bibury and Arlington.

During lockdown, Rinnie was shielding, so the church asked if she would paint some rocks for them to hide with the added bonus of a prize for the first five people to share a photo of the rock they had found on the Arlington Baptist Facebook or Instagram page.

Organiser Simon Brown a Deacon at Arlington Baptist Church said: "We had an incredible response with people thanking the church as families had been struggling with things to during lockdown, some of the children were getting a bit depressed and hunting for the rocks lifted their spirits.

"Prizes of sweets were popular."
