Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called this afternoon to deal with a hay fire near Malmesbury.
Three crews from Tetbury, Nailsworth and Stroud were called just after 12pm to deal with the blaze on farmland near Grange Lane in Malmesbury, which is now out.
Between 40-50 metres of field is believed to have been damaged by the fire.
A post on the fire service's Twitter account read: "Three fire engines are currently dealing with a large amount of hay on fire near Tetbury.
"Please don’t be alarmed if you see or smell smoke but do try and avoid the area."
