There’s nothing quite like a wedding.
The big family reunions, the tear-jerking speeches, the drunken dance moves, the messy hen dos – we all look forward to them.
But with all large gatherings cancelled this summer, it’s been a disappointing time for thousands of couples having to reschedule their big days.
And with the peak of wedding season due this weekend, BBC Radio Wiltshire is hosting a wedding party on the radio.
It will be hearing from Wiltshire couples, and their families to remind them, their big day will come.
And presenter Marie Lennon is encouraging listeners to get into the spirit.
“I’ll be playing a bit wedding party playlist, with the songs you’d expect at a wedding disco, and I want all of Wiltshire to come together to toast these amazing couples.
"Even wear your finest wedding hat if you like,” she said.
The BBC Radio Wiltshire Wedding Party is tomorrow from noon to 2pm.
