A HARDWICKE resident arrived home after work to find their home had been burgled and their car stolen.
They got home at 5pm to discover thieves had forced open the back door of the property, taking valuables and cash before stealing an Audi parked outside.
The burglary occurred on Tuesday, June 2.
Thieves searched the cottage and stole a quantity of jewellery, watches and cash. They also took keys for an Audi TT Quatro (similar to the one pictured here), registration KX07 FVH.
It is believed that the thieves struck at 1.45pm.
Gloucestershire police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
A force spokesman said that officers are interested in further information about a light coloured Mondeo-style car which was seen driving slowly up and down the street shortly before the burglary took place. They would also like to trace a dark coloured Volvo estate which was in the area at the time.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV and dash cam footage to contact them on 101, quoting incident 412 of June 2.
