A DRIVER got more than they bargained for at the newly reopened McDonald's drive-through in Cirencester yesterday.
Behind the wheel of a Mercedes, the driver joined a lengthy queue at the fast food restaurant, which reopened yesterday after months of closure.
There they were spotted by police as having no car insurance, and the vehicle was seized.
The Cirencester Neighbourhood Policing Team made the discovery as they waited for their take away.
They posted on Twitter: "Make sure you have insurance. Summons in the post. #OneBigMacAndInsurancePlease."
