THOUSANDS of pounds worth of goods were stolen during a burglary in Northleach.

Between 6pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday, thieves broke into a site in the area of Bassett Road, Northleach, by cutting the locks off the main gates.

Once on the site, police believe they used an angle grinder to access an out building and steal a radio system.

Thieves then broke a window on the side of the main building, before using the angle grinder again to break the locks of the main doors from inside the building.

A Wacker plate worth £1000, a large generator also worth £1000 and a 5ft x 4ft Ifor Williams trailer worth £500 were stolen, together with a number of compressor hoses and large pieces of machinery and a trailer.
