Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.

They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are four of the most interesting projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

59 Mill End Road, High Wycombe

A plan has been put forward to move a popular takeaway into a new building.

The property used to be used for light industry but has been left vacant since the business closed. Now, the owners of Corner Plaice chip shop want to move in there.

The applicants state in the planning documents that: "relocating the hot food takeaway at the proposed site makes better use of a property that is currently vacant and will help applicant retain his business."

2 - 6 Coningsby Road, High Wycombe

Eighteen new properties could be built in High Wycombe, if this plan is given the go ahead.

The three properties currently listed in this application will be demolished, with planners hoping to build twelve two bedroom properties and six one bedroom properties.

This would be within a single apartment block.

5382 Chinnor Road, Bledlow Ridge

If these proposals are given the green light, the redundant farmyard and agricultural buildings will be converted.

This will be done in order to create a converted single storey 2-bed dwelling with detached workshop and cycle store, detached office and with ancillary accommodation and solar panels.

201B Desborough Road, High Wycombe

A prior notification application has been submitted.

This application lists that the existing light industrial building at the site will be converted into three new homes.
