Cirencester charity The Churn Project is launching its very own weekly online quiz.

The charity, which continues to support young families, the elderly and those particularly at risk from isolation and loneliness during these challenging times is launching its inaugural quiz on Bank Holiday Monday.

Bringing together the charity’s supporters, volunteers, staff, service users, and anyone who wants to join in the fun, Churn Quiz Time will be streamed live on The Churn’s Facebook page and hosted by a different local personality each week, starting on Monday with Canon Graham, vicar of Cirencester and Watermoor.

Approached by a Churn volunteer to host the quiz, Canon Graham was keen to help and promises to be an excellent quizmaster.

In addition to reading out approximately 30 questions over five rounds, he will be engaging with online messages from those taking part and making sure it’s a fun way to spend an hour on a Monday evening whilst raising funds to enable The Churn Project to continue with its much-needed work in the community.

The quiz will start at 7pm, and is free to join.

If you would like to support The Churn’s work, donations can be made online from the Facebook page or on The Churn’s website at www.churnproject.org.uk.
