A popular backroad on the edge of Tetbury will close next month to allow for resurfacing works.
The 4/1497 Road from Chavenage Lane to Chavenage Green, will close for approximately three days between 7am and 7pm.
Works are expected to start on Monday, June 8, and end on Wednesday, June 10.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Highways said: "Due to the ongoing Public Health emergency being experienced throughout the UK, we will no longer be letter dropping prior to road closures at resurfacing sites.
"We will continue to perform resurfacing whilst we have available resource and material, and will endeavour to put up advance notice boards on these sites, however, the situation is changing regularly and this may result in works being postponed or cancelled at short notice."
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
