Kemble/Somerford Keynes/ Poole Keynes news by Pat Ayres

AS Kemble Village Hall is currently closed the parish council meetings have not been held including the annual parish meeting.

I have been told that the clerk is producing an annual report which will be available online very soon.

You can always contact the chair and/or clerk with any issues or concerns that you may have by leaving your details on the Kemble Parish link.

Or you can ring them, Roger Pettitt chair 01285 770133 or Sarah Broadley clerk 01285 770758.

I have recently chased one of the councillors about a Commonwealth war grave sign to be placed at the entrance to the cemetery in Church Road which has been long awaited to be received.

He says he is on the case and hopefully this will appear very soon.

DON’T forget you can contact Cotswold District Council and get support and help with many concerns that you might have on its cotswold.gov.uk/coronavirus link or ring the CDC direct on 01285 623000.

Councillor Jenny Forde is the cabinet member for health, wellbeing and public safety.

OUR village shop/post office continues to be a wonderful asset to the village for which the parishioners are extremely grateful.

Grateful thanks to Kam, Nutan and staff Claire and Shirley who serve us well.
