WILDLIFE on the railway lines is stopping train journeys between Swindon and Bristol.


A Great Western Railway spokesman said: "Due to animals on the railway between Swindon, Bristol Parkway, and Chippenham, all lines are blocked.

"Services between London & South Wales will be diverted, running fast between Newport & Swindon. Customers for Bristol Parkway should travel to Bristol Temple Meads.

"Services between London & Bristol Temple Meads will be diverted, running fast between Reading & Bath Spa.

"If you hold a valid single, return, or weekly ticket, and are delayed by 15mins or more, visit http://gwr.com/delayrepay for compensation. Disruption is expected until 1pm."
