KEMPSFORD Village Hall still has the post office operating every Thursday between midday and 2pm.

Cards and stationery for all occasions are also on sale.

TRADITIONAL Fish & Chips Van continues with its service to our community by offering takeaway fresh, sustainably sourced produce.

The next time the van will be at Kempsford Village Hall car park will be between 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday, May 20. Contactless card payment only please.

TAKEAWAY main meals, snacks and puddings are also on offer at The George in Kempsford from Tuesday - Saturday, 12pm - 2pm and 6pm - 9pm.

On Sundays they serve a good selection of roast dinners from 12pm - 3pm.

SOON The Licensing will take place of the Reverend Kim Brown who will be the vicar of Kempsford, Whelford, Castle Eaton, Meysey Hampton and Marston Meysey.

She is moving into The Parsonage at Kempsford and she will be Licensed at 6pm on May 20.

A Facebook page for the five villages will go live once she is Licensed.

Rev Kim also has plans for children’s activities during the lockdown should it continue much longer.

An announcement will be made soon about how the return of our churches will happen.
