THE great British takeaway returned to Tetbury Town Centre as Tetbury fish and chip shop and the Imperial Chinese takeaway both re-opened with a special service that abides with social distancing guidelines.

All you have to do is ring your order through and they will have it ready for you to pick up.

Serena, owner of Tetbury Fish and Chip Shop said: “We are to open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening 5pm to 8.30pm, however in accordance with government guidelines it’s pre-order by phone and by collection time only, so please understand that you can’t just turn up.

Paul of the Imperial Chinese cuisine Tetbury said: “We can take phone orders earlier in the day ready for later collection in the evening. We anticipate that our phone lines will be busy in the evenings, so our phone line 01666 503110 will be open to take pre-orders after 12pm everyday, ready for collection in the evening. We will still be able to take orders in the evenings, however the wait time may be longer.”
