THE Stump, Formerly the Hare and Hounds, has opened a take away called The Stump Shack selling pizzas and presumably booze to go with it near the pub forecourt. Both The Seven Tuns Inn and Chedworth Farm shop have boxes of essential items which they can arrange to have delivered to residents who are self isolating.
CHEDWORTH Village Hall has announced that it is not taking any bookings prior to the end of June.
CHEDWORTH Silver Band is awaiting lifting of restrictions before making plans on when performances can recommence.
Band members have been practicing in ones and twos even trios, during the lockdown. The band has a number of pieces of music which have been adapted to suit playing as duets or trios in addition to the usual four part harmony standards
MARY Thompson on Flugel Horn and her husband Dave on Eb Bass (Tuba), were videoed playing The Great Escape re-arranged as a duet in their garden last Thursday during the NHS 8pm celebration. This uploaded can be seen on the Bands facebook page @ChedworthSilverBand
