Politicians from across Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and North Wiltshire have been showing support for Boris Johnson, following the news he is in intensive care.
The prime minister, who has coronavirus, was admitted to St Thomas' Hospital in London on Sunday before being moved to intensive care yesterday (Monday). His pregnant fiancee Carrie Symonds has also suffered symptoms of coronavirus.
Messages of support have poured in from local conservatives.

Stroud MP Siobhan Baillie, who Johnson visited during last year's general election campaign said in a Facebook post: "He is in the best hands with our health teams but it’s so worrying. My love to Carrie and ongoing prayers for everybody dealing with this awful coronavirus."
Thornbury and Yate MP Luke Hall said: "The Prime Minister is still in intensive care, but he is in a stable condition. He is currently receiving some standard oxygen treatment, and I am told that he is in good spirits. I’m sure that readers will all join me in wishing him all the best for his recovery.
"We live in one of most community orientated parts of the country and I am in awe of how our community have risen to the challenge our country faces by helping to support vulnerable people in self-isolation, with businesses, charities and individuals rallying around people who need support.
"I would like to reassure everyone that there is a very determined mood in Government to deliver the very clear plan the Prime Minister has set for the country in responding to this Public Health pandemic.”
North Wiltshire MP James Gray Tweeted: Thinking of Boris Johnson and his family today. I know that you will join with me and the whole Nation in wishing him God speed to a full recovery to his robust best health.
"Get well soon, Boris. We are all with you."
The leader of South Gloucestershire Council, Toby Savage, also shared a message of support saying: "Rooting for Boris Johnson tonight and his speedy recovery.
"Thoughts with Carrie Symonds at this awful time."
Boris Johnson has made several visits to the area in recent years, holding a rally near Cirencester last year and visiting Yate during the 2017 general election campaign.
