NHS England has confirmed that eight more patients with coronavirus have died at Gloucestershire NHS Foundation Trust hospitals.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by more than 40 percent at the Gloucestershire Hospitals Trust over the weekend, the latest official figures show.
NHS England figures show 39 people had died in hospital at the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as of 5pm on Sunday.
They were among 250 deaths recorded across the South West.
Of the 16 trusts across the South West, the Gloucestershire Hospitals trust has the highest death toll.
Across England, the death toll hit 5,373 as of 9am on Monday.
306 people have now tested positive for the coronavirus in Gloucestershire.
Public Health England has confirmed 25 new cases of the virus in the county in the last 24 hours.
