UK death toll rises by record amount for third day in a row
THE number of people who died after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK has risen by a record amount for the third day in a row.
Another 569 coronavirus deaths have been declared across the country, taking the total death toll to 2,921.
A further 4,244 people were diagnosed with the infection in the past 24 hours, pushing the total to 33,718.
