The leader of Cotswold District Council, Cllr Joe Harris, will be hosting a regular Q&A session on Tuesday afternoons to answer residents' questions about the coronavirus and how the council can help.

The first session starts today at 3.30pm and is being streamed live from the Barn Theatre in Cirencester via the district council’s facebook page.

Cllr Harris will be joined in the first session by the council’s cabinet member for waste, Cllr Andrew Doherty and via video link by cabinet member for health, wellbeing and public safety, Cllr Jenny Forde.

Residents can ask questions in advance by emailing joe.harris@cotswold.gov.uk or during the live stream by leaving a comment on the district council’s facebook page.

Cllr Harris said: “We’ve teamed up with the Barn Theatre to ensure that residents have a forum to ask questions of councillors about the council’s efforts to tackle the coronavirus and how we may be able to help you.

"My colleagues and I have already been contacted by many residents with excellent questions and we want to ensure that we can share the answers with as many people as possible.

"I hope as many residents as possible will make use of this opportunity.”
