FORMER Dynasty actress Emma Samms, who lives in Stroud, has revealed that she has coronavirus.

Emma, who famously starred in Dynasty and The Colbys, shared the news on Twitter yesterday.

The soap star also shared her sadness at not being able to be with her daughter Micha on her 22nd birthday, as she is still self-isolating after contracting the virus.

She wrote: "This is my beautiful daughter Micha. It’s her 22nd birthday today but she’s on her own and I’m on day 10 of dealing with coronavirus, so I can’t even give her a hug."

Emma is best known for her role as Holly Sutton in the American daytime soap opera General Hospital, and as Fallon Carrington Colby in the prime-time soap opera Dynasty.

She has also appeared in the BBC series Holby City and Doctors.

She was awarded an MBE for services to seriously and terminally ill children in 2016.
