Cotswold District Council is easing parking restrictions to support residents and key workers during the ongoing Coronavirus situation.
From today, council car parks in the Cotswolds will be free.
Cllr Mark Harris, cabinet member for parking said: "At present, very few people should be using public car parks.
"However, we realise that as we are all at home, at the same time, there will be those that need to use public car parks if no alternative is available.
"Also, there will be volunteers and key workers who need park as part of the important work they are doing.
"For those reasons, we are suspending all car parking charges until the Government announces we can go back to work and we no longer need to stay at home."
