I find it utterly unbelievable that the Cheltenham Festival has been allowed to go ahead despite the coronavirus outbreak.
More than 250,000 people will descend on Cheltenham and the Cotswolds and the virus is already embedded in this county.
While we can all adhere to the demands of the Government asking us to wash our hands, I doubt every racegoer will be willing (or able) to rinse their hands while singing happy birthday twice.
I know the racing brings an immense amount of money into the county and Cheltenham Racecourse is vital to the local economy but given the current state of affairs with coronavirus, I think they should have called the whole meeting off.
