Giffords Circus kitchen will be joining forces with Sam & Jak at The Upton Firehouse for a special charity night of food and celebration.

Circus Sauce, the culinary arm of the famous Cotswold travelling entertainers, Giffords, will be cooking up a six course menu from their new cookbook, which will be released to the public in April.

Sam and Jak know Circus Sauce head chef Ols Halas and are looking forward to getting back into the kitchen with him.

“Ols has done an incredible job since starting (Circus) Sauce and has cooked for people all over the country including Marco Pierre White and Adele,” said chef Sam Edwards.

“His book has some great ideas and we are looking forward to putting them together here at The Firehouse.

“There will also be some surprise acts so it will be an incredible night and a culinary tribute to Nell and her legacy.

“The Firehouse is open for lunch every Friday, Saturday and Sunday but we want to add something different to our dining calendar so are going to host a special Friday every month.

“Ols is Feb and we have our one year anniversary after this.

“It will be Après Ski on March 27 and then Thai Night in April on the 24th.”

Tickets for the evening on Friday, February 28, can be bought from The Firehouse with a share of the profits going to Maggie’s, the hospice in Cheltenham that cared for circus founder Nell Gifford who sadly lost her battle with cancer in late 2019.

Tickets can also be bought via their website www.theuptonfirehouse.com.
